What is shadowing?
Shadowing means listening to a short sentence and repeating it immediately, matching the speaker's rhythm, intonation, and connected speech. It builds muscle memory for natural pronunciation.
How to practice
- Listen to the full sentence once.
- Press play again and repeat the sentence aloud, starting just after the speaker.
- Focus on matching the rhythm, not just the words.
- Repeat each sentence 3-5 times until it feels natural.
